Itinerary: From the Medina to the Dunes (3 Days)

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Meet at Café de France (Jemaa el-Fna Square) at 08:00 to start the adventure.

  • The Atlas: Cross Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m), enjoying breathtaking mountain landscapes.

  • Clay History: Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and legendary movie set.

  • Road of a Thousand Kasbahs: Continue to Ouarzazate and Skoura, through the Rose Valley to Dades Gorges.

  • Accommodation: Charming hotel in Dades Valley (dinner included).

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

  • After breakfast, head east where landscapes grow wilder.

  • Todra Walk: Stroll between the sheer walls of Todra Gorges, a natural rock paradise.

  • Desert Encounter: Pass Erfoud to reach Merzouga, then switch to camels to venture into the dunes as sunset begins.

  • Berber Night: Dinner under the stars with a traditional party in the desert's heart.

  • Accommodation: Luxury haimas with private bathrooms.

Day 3: Desert Sunrise – Marrakech
Dawn with the spectacular sunrise over Erg Chebbi dunes – pure peace.

  • The Return: After breakfast, head back via Rissani and Anti-Atlas plateaus.

  • Southern Crossing: Lunch near Klaat M'Gouna, then recross the High Atlas.

  • Journey's End: Arrive Marrakech around 20:30 at Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Recommendations:

Bring comfortable footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, and some warm clothing for the night in the desert, as temperatures drop after sunset.
